Diet / Exercise Update

Last night I walked 3 laps around the park, and then my knee felt better so I did 2 laps running. It felt great. I did some upside down push up type things- pulling on the parallel bars – up until my chest touched. Did 2 sets of those – baby girl had to get some milk, so that cut my workout short. Still – it was a long workout – with the running/walking. No complaints.

This morning I had 4 small bananas – they’re excellent right now. For lunch I had a big apple, 2 bites of a banana I shared with my daughter, and I just put 3/4 cup meusli in my cup and instead of the veggie soy milk – I used water. It worked. There was a bit of a bitter taste to it all, but water works well enough to continue to use. That way I save about 100 calories on the soy milk.

Total calories today through lunch – about 525.

For dinner I’m hoping someone has corn, so I’ll eat two of those. No idea how many calories in corn. I think few since much of it remains undigested – right?

I’ll look it up in a minute.

Today – no real exercise planned. If we take our girl to the park, I’ll do some walking. My knee needs a rest from the mountain I think, no sense pushing it.

I do hope I can get to the Banyan Tree Hotel “Bangkok Vertical Marathon” climb in 3 weeks. Finances just got hammered because we switched method of payment for some of our income. Might be 2 months before we have anything extra – then we’ll have a lot extra, but no race!

Let’s see what happens…

Cheers all!
